MATTHEW MAYS MEMORIAL CLAY SHOOT

Matthew Ray Mays passed away at the age of 39 on December 17, 2022 in a tragic boating accident while duck hunting. The MMMCS Event was conceived to honor his memory and to support non-profits that benefit veterans and first responders, as well as endeavors to prevent future accidents on our waterways. Proceeds will benefit PCS Ministries, Mark it for Matt, and Mighty Oaks Foundation. Mark it for Matt is an endeavor begun by the Mays family to help make our waterways more safe by equipping boaters with reflector kits for marking waterway obstructions. Mighty Oaks Foundation is a non-profit that serves veterans and first responders (www.mightyoaksprograms.org).

Matthew Mays Memorial Clay Shoot Registration

The following registration form is for all Sponsors, Teams, Participants, Donors, and Dinner Guests. If registering for multiple companies/teams/donors, please complete a separate form for each.


Registration Deadline: November 1st


Sponsors and Teams will need the following info handy in order to register: participant names, t-shirt sizes, and email addresses. If participants are TBD, leave blank and you will be contacted at a later date.


Sponsors and Donors will need a company logo file handy.


Complete the following form and click "register". You will then be redirected to the payment page. All participation/sponsorship fees are due at time of registration. Credit Card, ACH, & check (for amounts exceeding $1,000) are accepted.

Clay Shoot Important Rules & Details:

  • Each participant must provide his/her own shotgun (12 or 20 gauge only).

  • All ammo will be provided by GHSC (please do not bring your own). 

  • Safety glasses and hearing protection are required for all participants in all shooting areas (provided).

  • All shotguns must be clear of ammunition with the actions open when anywhere outside the shooting stations.

  • Consumption of alcohol is not allowed before or during clay shoot tournament.

  • For each flurry round, six machines will launch 100 targets in 100 seconds. The four-person team lines up to break as many as possible.

  • Awards given: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams, top scoring individual male & female, and the team with the top flurry score.
